Following the discussion on Telegram, this is a proposal to allocate 10% of current CGP funds to an external off-chain staking program.
If there is interest and it seems we can get a quorum, we would then vote on different staking options. Currently Frax on the Ethereum network has been proposed as it has been running for a few months, has been audited by reputable auditors, maintains a USD peg which lowers the risk, and yields attractive returns.
In order not to wait months until proper bridges have been deployed, it has been proposed that Chef would serve as escrow until we can deploy the funds trustlessly.
